Bible Breath Bracelets

I often found myself being intrigued by the directive of God in Deuteronomy 6:6-9

These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.
Here is a simple, doable way to hold key points to a Scripture passage before your eyes. A stop at a red light, a glance at the wrist during a hectic day, instantly bring spiritual truths into counterpoint with what you are experiencing at a given moment in time. Here it is...

Both ends of a 1 inch x 2 1/2 inch strip of paper are taped to the left end of a "slap bracelet" on which are printed the Bible Breaths for the day, or another inspirational saying. Recovering people can place one of the 12 Steps on which they are focusing. More about Bible Breaths

Each day of the week can have a color associated with it. The Torah and Hebrew Writings: the blue end of the spectrum; Psalms: green: the center of the spectrum; New Testament: the red end of the spectrum. See the colored ribbons below for more details.

I'll be pleased to send you a set of seven for $10 including mailing. I can also email you a Word document template that has the Bible Breaths formated for the bracelets. Also, ask me if you'd like to subscribe to the Bible Breaths sent daily to your inbox. They are posted each day at 9 PM Eastern Time, to help you prepare for the reading for the following day in The Bible Through the Seasons.

Blessing on you and yours,
